IE, never anyone's friend
February 10, 2009
After having successfully solved the Internet Explorer CSS problem I was having on the art pages, I am now presented with a wonderful new error. Seems that for some reason IE refuses to load my writing page, sending off a brief and unhelpful error message. Always fun.
Edit: it seems to be some kind of bug in the way IE handles loading an external .js file into that page. Until I figure out a handy solution, my suggestion (as always) would be to switch to a browser other than IE.

Site relaunch
February 9, 2009
Wave good-bye to all the lorem ipsum, Androgyny 2050 is now officially relaunched. Bugs still are being worked out for compatibility with IE versions 6.0 and earlier, but broad functionality is experienced across a wide range of browsers and operating systems.
To speed up this process, I've enlisted the help of BrowserShots, a free net-based application that allows you to type in a URL and preview it in a large number of browsers and platforms. Perfect for doing compatibility testing, and definite entry into my teaching content! So much easier and so much better than trying to download all those applications on your own.
More content is forthcoming, but achieving correct functionality is the most important thing at the moment. Work also continues on my Advanced Digital Production page - always worth checking out.

A 6-minute animation about the relationship between an inventor and his inventions. This is an animation that is intended to be shown in a gallery setting concurrently with the videos completed as part of my Masters work. In this fashion, each video provides context for the rest. This ever-expanding work of art functions best as an ensemble.
